Here I am and there you are

You don’t notice but I am looking at you

And thinking in my head you are looking at me too

But I don’t know what to say

I just hope this is the day

To get the courage to come over and talk

But I have no courage to get up and walk

Forgive me because I am shy

I am just a simple guy

I hope this poem has broken the ice

For I consider myself to be nice
